Vibration Control
Valvic provides individual service and solutions to all our customers' needs, from the most precise and critical applications to the more general and industrial applications.
Using an FFT Analyzer, we can measure all three sources of vibration: Ground or Seismic, Acoustic Noise, and Direct Force Disturbances. With these results we can formulate a solution for a given application utilizing pneumatic isolators or the more conventional rubber mounts.
Over the years we have worked to develop standard products to help our customers' vibration control needs (shock mount PDF: 84K). These include freestanding tables, floor platforms, tabletop platforms and freestanding individual isolators. Additionally, the following tabletop options in varying thicknesses allow us to meet the most demanding needs: standard stainless steel laminate, stainless steel and plastic laminate, and honeycomb. Whether the application is analyzing subatomic particles or dealing with sophisticated optics, Valvic can bring the most precise specifications to reality.
For general and industrial applications, such as motors, compressors, etc., we provide the more traditional rubber mount. With a variety of materials and a broad selection of shapes and sizes, we can undoubtedly solve your vibration control problem. Wiper Cones & Vacuum Cups
For the hose and allied industries, Valvic offers its standard line of wiper cones, which are used to control adhesive in the hose manufacturing process. We offer a variety of sizes and materials to best handle and resist the various adhesives. Several years ago, Valvic introduced the vacuum cup used in the extrusion manufacturing process. These cups help maintain the needed pressure and/or vacuum to effectively extrude an elastomeric profile. They, too, are available in different sizes and materials.
